Rainbows at Kirby Hall

70 years after Girlguiding members planted trees at Kirby Hall, the Rainbows of Kettering were invited back for a Division event to plant replacement oak trees to line the driveway. Using the beautiful 17th Century house and landscaped gardens as a backdrop, the Rainbows celebrated 30 years of Rainbows with a quiz, craft and (of course) cake! All participants took home a badge, a plant pot and hope that they could grow an oak tree of their very own! Rainbows love to visit new places and celebrate their part in Girlguiding history.

Also in October, the Rainbows attended a County fun evening at Kids Play in Kettering. The girls were rather amused when they persuaded their leaders to join them on the giant slides and play equipment! Meeting members of Girlguiding from all over Northamptonshire was lots of fun, especially in such a wonderful place.

Rainbows love to laugh with new and old friends.
