THE NEW GUIDING PROGRAMME
The new programme has arrived!
Rainbows, Brownies and Guides have a new programme and there is so much more to do.
New Term
Brownies receive new badge book
Guides starting new badges this term and some already half way through confectioners badge and DIY.
Rainbows have been to their princess party this week (13/10/2018) and Guides will be Ice Skating again on the 3rd November.
Overnight camps and holidays are already being planned for next year as are trips to Big Gig, festivals, seaside and other wonderful destinations.

What has been happening
RAINBOWS
Rainbows had their first sleepover with 24th Kettering Brownies,
Lots of visitors and visits from RNLI, to the fire station etc. The Rainbows loved also had a lovely time visiting Kettering fire station.
BROWNIES -24th Kettering
Brownies have now had 2 big pack holidays, a visit to Sheringham, trampolining at Bounce, visiting West Midlands Safari Sleepover & Kettering fire station.
Brownies have also enjoyed Science experiments, Guiding History, making slime, and gaining badges.
BROWNIES -20th Kettering
It was with great sadness we said goodbye to 20th Kettering Brownies, that closed in January 2018, doors after a 70 plus history

BROWNIES -24th Kettering
Jan 19 we have been giving new Brownie badges out plus having fun making decorations and looking at real First Aid i.e. how to place someone in the recovery position. Also, to raise the 'End Polio' campaign we have planted lots of Crocuses.
Sept 18 Brownies have been learning about our local heritage and visited the local museum who had a new display. They have also been learning First Aid and how to care about burns, just in time to enjoy Sparklers.
Sept 18 Brownies also had pack holidays, one included a sleepover at West Midlands Safari (June 18) a visit to Sheringham (July 17), trampolining at Bounce (Dec 17). Brownies have also enjoyed Science, Guiding History, making slime, and gaining badges.
GUIDES - 20th Kettering
Guides have been on 2 outdoor camps this year, one at Alton Towers and one in at John Lowther. They have been Ice Skating, shopping in Milton Keynes and We have also been wood whittling, practising camp skills, knots and making cakes, biscuits and non-alcoholic cocktails.
